So first of all we need a few ingredients that are found in almost everyones home pantry, and if not can be purchased at any grocery store for very cheap. Publix is having a BOGO sale on every item on this list at the moment. So lets get started!
Makes 1 dozen cookies
1 1/4 cup of self rising flour. (If you don't have self rising add 1 teaspoon of baking soda)
3/4 a stick of softened butter
3/4 a cup of light brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 tablespoons (or more) of vanilla
1 1/4 cups of chocolate chips ( I love my Chocolate!)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Next mix the butter and sugars in a bowl until creamy. You can use a mixer for this step but is not necessary if you use a little bit of elbow grease. Add the egg and vanilla into the mixture and beat until creamy again.
- Add the flour to the mix slowly and make sure you get all of it mixed together.
- Bring on the Chocolate!
- Put tablespoon sized balls of dough onto a pan and put in the preheated oven for 10-14 minutes depending on the speed of your oven.
- Enjoy!!!!!!
